Pedestrian killed in collision with car in Brooklyn Park

Police are investigating after a pedestrian was killed in a collision in Brooklyn Park Thursday evening. The incident happened at 8:54 p.m., when the pedestrian – a 59-year-old man – was involved in a collision with a vehicle at Brooklyn Boulevard and Welcome Avenue North. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, with police closing the road to carry out further investigation. Read more here
